M. GAIL WILSON
Gail is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BA in history and political science and a JD from the University of Kentucky College of Law. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Western and Eastern Federal District Courts of Kentucky and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. A native of Russell County, Gail has practiced law in Jamestown since graduating from law school. Her practice has been focused on helping others, whether in obtaining Social Security disability benefits, Workers Compensation benefits, personal injury or assisting with probate matters and estates or various other ways when legal assistance is needed. Gail is a strong advocate for her clients, providing high level representation with compassion and attention to detail. Before joining Helm Shearer Wilson, Gail practiced with Bertram & Wilson.
Gail has served in many capacities with the Kentucky Bar Association, including serving on the KBA Board of Governors. She currently serves as the Russell County Master Commissioner, is counsel for the Bank of Jamestown and has served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney.
Gail has been involved in various community endeavors such as Russell County Habitat for Humanity and the Russell County Public Library Friends Board. She is devoted both to her profession and to making Russell County an even better place to live.
